TMJ Splint Therapy

TMD are disorders of the jaw muscles, temporomandibular joints (TMJ) and the nerves associated with chronic facial pain. If your facial pain has been diagnosed as TMD, TMJ splint therapy may help you find relief from persistant jaw pain.

TMJ splint therapy helps to correct your bite without surgery through the use of a removable orthopedic appliance that gradually aligns the jaw  and lessens the impact of your jaw movements. Often worn at night, the TMJ splint fits over your teeth, alleviating the pressure from biting and chewing forces so the TMJ and surrounding facial muscles can relax and heal.
