Teeth Whitening

Whitening improves the appearance of yellowing, aging or stained teeth without altering tooth structure or existing dental work. Family Dental Center offers the latest at-home teeth whitening technology, a method that is safe, quick and less costly than in-office procedures. 

Just let us know during any appointment if you would like to whiten your teeth. You can lighten only your upper teeth or both the upper and lower, depending on how much you show when you talk and smile.

We offer three methods of teeth whitening:

• Whitening Strips: Coated with whitening gel, these flexible strips mold and adhere to the teeth.
• Prefilled Whitening Trays: Filled with whitening gel, these ready-made trays adapt to the teeth from molar to molar.
• Custom Trays: An impression is taken to make specialized trays to hold the whitening solution against the teeth. The material used is based on the timeframe which best meets your needs. Significant whitening will occur as you properly follow the instructions given to you. When your teeth reach the desired brightness, only occasional treatment is needed to maintain your new smile.

For very severely stained teeth, bonding, porcelain veneers or crowns may be more appropriate.
